Experience — Decades of Platform-Level Automotive Expertise
With more than twenty years working across nearly every major GM platform and architecture, we’ve seen virtually every scenario imaginable. That experience allows us to:
• Diagnose complex configuration and integration issues
• Understand subtle variations between trims, markets, and RPO combinations
• Deliver factory-correct results the first time
• Avoid the trial-and-error programming methods that plague less experienced providers
Our background isn’t theoretical — it’s hands-on, technical, and rooted in OEM-grade processes.
Process — Development That Mirrors OEM Standards
Our development approach is both intensive and extensive. We never release a product simply to be “first to market.” Instead, we test across:
• Multiple vehicles
• Multiple years
• Multiple trims and equipment levels
• Edge-case configurations
More than once, we’ve purchased vehicles solely for R&D because the correct test platform wasn’t available locally. This commitment ensures that every product behaves exactly as it would if GM produced it themselves.
We do not cut corners. We do not guess. We do not “hope it works.”
If it doesn’t meet OEM standards, it doesn’t leave our shop.
OEM-Level Attention to Detail — No Half Measures
Our philosophy is simple:
If it can’t be done to OEM specs, in an OEM manner, we won’t do it.
We refuse to embrace the “but it works” mindset when “works” means “kind of behaves like factory… most of the time.” That isn’t acceptable. Not for us, and not for the customers who trust us with their vehicles.
OEM or not at all — these are the words we live by.
Innovation — First-to-Market Solutions, Not Imitations
Roughly 99% of the products we offer are WAMS-exclusive, first-to-market solutions. They weren’t copied; they were engineered. And they were fully tested long before they were released.
While others attempt to imitate our products — sometimes even copying our platforms, images, and messaging — replicating something without understanding the technology behind it is dangerous. It can:
• Damage vehicles
• Create compliance issues
• Void warranties
• Introduce safety risks
• Lead to legal complications
As Benjamin Franklin famously said:
“The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.”
We innovate. We don’t duplicate.
Factory New Hardware — No Salvage, No Guesswork, No Hidden Problems
The overwhelming majority of modules we supply are brand-new GM warranty components. When older platforms require OE-refurbished units due to age or availability, those units still carry the full GM warranty, registered directly to your VIN.
This is a no-brainer — especially when others in the market attempt to sell used, unknown-history, salvage, or “core exchange” modules (often buried deep in their terms and conditions) at prices higher than our brand-new hardware.
WAMS does not deal in “other people’s problems.”
No Core Charges — Ever
We don’t believe in holding your money hostage with core fees.
There are no cores at WAMS — period.
You own the hardware you purchased, and you’re free to sell your old components to recoup part of your investment. Our goal is to deliver value, not extract unnecessary fees.
