Add the factory 2022-2024 Google Embedded infotainment with navigation to your IOS or IOT infotainment equipped 2021 Tahoe, Suburban or Yukon with plug and play simplicity! This upgrade Is NOT compatible with the base IOR infotainment.

This WAMS exclusive upgrade includes a brand new radio module custom programmed to your vehicles specific content AND more importantly it’s pre-registered on the GM Back End for plug and play simplicity and 100% OEM operation including  OnStar functions, For FULL integration our cluster upgrade found HERE will be required otherwise Infotainment related cluster menus and controls will not work. This system has not been tested for RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment) compatibility at this time but based on bench testing it should work minus the navigation function on the RSE system; we are actively working on testing this and will remove or clarify this statement in the coming weeks.

If you order this upgrade for an IOR equipped vehicle despite numerous warnings not to you will be responsible for restocking costs.

FAQ:

Q: How do I know if this upgrade will work for me?
A: You will need to have the IOS (Mid Level) Radio without navigation or the IOT (Up Level) Radio with Navigation. This kit will NOT work on IOR equipped vehicles. If you are confused as to which version your vehicle has you can check the QR code on your build label to see which radio you have this is generally on the Driver or Passenger Door Jamb / B Pillar area or the glovebox. Scanning the QR code will show all of the option (RPO) codes look for code IOS or IOT if you have either of these keep reading if you have IOR stop now as your vehicle is not compatible.

Q: Will this work on  X Application?
A: This is ONLY for 2021 T1 SUV Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon it will not work on any other vehicle..

Q: What Market/Region does this upgrade support?
A: At this time these are designed for the North American Market ONLY.

Q: How do you know which options I have?
A: We will configure the unit using the factory build data associated with your VIN for options such as RSE etc.

Q: It’s really plug and play?
A: Yes the unit arrives ready to go and pre registered with GM for infotainment feature continuity and plug and play simplicity. The ONLY thing you’ll have to do if you happen to have an active XM account will be to call them and tell them the new radio ID to transfer service over.

Q: Does this kit require an active OnStar subscription?
A: No BUT it’s highly recommended you have one especially at install. These units rely on OnStar data services (WiFi) for data to feed the embedded navigation and applications etc.

Q: Does this kit include the map database?
A: There is no map database on these units, they utilize Google Maps with data fed from an active OnStar Data subscription.

Q: How hard is the install?
A: Pretty easy if you take your time and have basic Automotive knowledge. The unit resides below the glove box so you must remove the lower insulator under the glove box, remove a small inverter, possibly unplug a harness to move out of the way then unplug the old unit release it from its mount then install the new unit. We are over simplifying it here but it’s really not a bad install, just need a good small automotive pick, a 10mm socket and some patience. Q: Is there anything you’re aware of that doesn’t work on these new units?
A: The only thing we’ve seen thus far is using google voice commands to make the car do certain things like change cabin temperature but to be frank we’ve never heard of anyone actually using that vs turning a knob.

Q: I’m sticking with the factory 2021 Cluster; what wont work?
A: Any of the Phone, Audio or NAV menus as well as the speed limit indicator etc. This can all be remedied with one of our Matching digital Cluster Upgrades found HERE.
