In early 2024 GM decided for whatever reason to not only stop updating the map database for HMI equipped vehicles but to stop selling the update all together. This situation has caused many owners to contact us asking to offer a standalone update service for this purpose which is what you’re viewing now.

This update service is to the LAST available map database which is the “2023” release.

This is a SHIP IN SERVICE meaning you must ship your HMI in to us to be updated. This service is ONLY FOR 2016+ HMI 2.5’s! To confirm you have the proper HMI for this you must obviously have full navigation with mapping on the screen. You can also check the RPO Code label in your glove box for “IO6”.Next you’ll need to make sure you have carplay/android auto available on your infotainment OR the “Projection” icon on the home screen.

THIS SERVICE DOES NOT FIX FAULTY HMI’S!

This is a ship in service for the HMI 2.5 Blackbox only. This service does not include any hardware you must ship in the proper Navigation HMI 2.5 to us to be updated.
